A facelift can fight signs of facial aging to help you look more youthful. Often, patients will combine a facelift with other facial rejuvenation procedures such as eyelifts (blepharoplasty), necklifts and brow lifts to help them achieve a younger appearance overall.

Dr. Lefkowitz will gently move skin and tissue that has relaxed over time to a more youthful position that still looks natural. The goal is to restore the relationship between your face, neck, and jawline.

Ideal Candidate
  • Age Range: 40’s - 70’s
  • Laxity of the face and neck skin
  • Droop and prominence of jowls
  • Back to Work: 10-14 days
  • Return to Exercise: Light cardio after 2 weeks, moderate exercise after 4 weeks, strenuous exercise after 6 weeks

A necklift tightens the skin and tissue in your neck, defining your jawline and face profile.

To remove fat and accentuate your jawline, Dr. Lefkowitz will perform a liposuction-only necklift. When muscles are moderately lax and are banding, he may recommend muscle tightening (platysmaplasty) with or without liposuction. For more significant skin excess and lax muscles, the classical necklift is most commonly performed in conjunction with a facelift.

Ideal Candidate
  • Excess fat beneath the chin and neck
  • Bands created by drooping neck muscles (platysma)
  • Laxity or droop of neck skin
  • Back to Work:
    4 - 7 days (liposuction only),
    7 - 10 days (necklift with platysmaplasty),
    10 - 14 days (classical necklift)
  • Return to Exercise: Light cardio after 2 weeks, moderate exercise after 4 weeks and strenuous exercise after 6 weeks

Though it may be a source of embarrassment and self-consciousness for men and older boys, excessive breast tissue, fat, and chest skin – a condition known as Gynecomastia – is very common.

Dr. Lefkowitz can recommend a variety of procedures to correct this problem, depending upon your needs and desired results. Regardless of the technique used, the result will be a smaller, firmer, natural looking chest.

Liposuction removes fat from targeted areas to contour and tone your appearance. Dr. Lefkowitz will discuss your options thoroughly based on your desired outcome.

  • Good skin tone and elasticity
  • BMI less than 30
Recovery Time

  • Return to Exercise: Light cardio after 7 days, strenuous exercise after 3 weeks

An eyelift fights excess upper eyelid skin, undereye bags, and crow's feet. Eyelid aging can make you look older and more tired, but this procedure can restore youthfulness to the area around your eyes.

Dr. Lefkowitz can perform upper eyelid lifts or lower eyelid lifts individually, or combined with other treatments such as necklifts and facelifts. Rejuvenating eyes can involve a variety of techniques, including Botox®, fat grafting, chemical peels, skin removal and fat repositioning. Dr. Lefkowitz will work with you to determine your desired outcome and make recommendations based on your goals.

Ideal Blepharoplasty Candidate
  • Excess, droopy upper eyelid skin
  • Bags, puffiness under the eyes (lower eyelids)
  • Back to work:
    Upper eyelid lift:  3-5 days
    Lower eyelid lift:  7-10 days
  • Return to Exercise:
